Squirrels
For boys and girls aged 4 and 5 years old
Squirrels is the youngest section in Scouting and will be a wonderful introduction to our newest members to the movement.

As part of the Squirrel Drey at 33rd Lancaster, you will meet new friends, hear new stories, play fun games and earn lots of badges along the way!
​
There are 13 activity badges and 4 challenge awards for Squirrels to earn, along with the 14 staged badges available to all sections. In addition, Squirrel Scouts can achieve the Chief Scouts Acorn Award, the highest badge in the section.

A typical Squirrel meeting will start with an opening ceremony, we will then share a story which introduces the theme of the evening, followed by a main activity that will go towards badge work. We will then play a game and finish with a closing ceremony before home time.
